Round Lab Mugwort Calming Cleanser — a gentle, slightly acidic foam cleanser for daily cleansing of sensitive, irritated, and redness-prone skin. The product removes impurities and excess sebum while trying to minimize moisture loss and keep skin comfortable after washing. The manufacturer especially recommends it for sensitive, blemish-prone skin.
The cleansing base is built on mild surfactants — Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, and Coco-Betaine. When in contact with water, the product forms a dense, creamy foam. ROUND LAB describes the formula as slightly acidic — mildly acidic, supporting the skin’s natural oil-and-moisture balance.
The key ingredient is Artemisia Vulgaris (mugwort) extract 10,045 ppm (about 1%), complemented by Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract 800 ppm. Mugwort is used in the Mugwort line primarily for soothing care for irritated and problem skin.
The formula also contains a complex of four CICA components — madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid. They enhance the formula’s soothing effect and help support the skin during irritation and redness. Panthenol, allantoin, betaine, and glycerin help retain moisture and reduce the feeling of dryness after cleansing.
