By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Prep Water is a gentle exfoliating toner designed to softly remove dead skin cells. It stimulates cell turnover, improves skin tone, and evens out complexion.
It contains 5% mandelic acid, which is less irritating compared to other types of AHA acids. It works gently and delicately. With antiseptic properties, it helps dissolve comedones and the keratin layer on the skin's surface, prevents and reduces pigmentation, evens skin tone, and enhances radiance.
In terms of effectiveness, mandelic acid is comparable to the more well-known glycolic and lactic acids in fighting fine lines and pigmentation, but it works in a much gentler way.
After applying this mandelic acid toner, you won’t feel the tingling or burning sensation that often occurs with stronger fruit acids (such as glycolic acid). This is because mandelic acid has larger molecules, which slows down and limits their penetration into the skin. It takes longer for the acid to absorb, making it more suitable for sensitive skin.
The result is not instant but cumulative and becomes visible after 2–3 weeks of regular use. This makes it an ideal option for those with normal, dry, or sensitive skin. It is recommended as a gentle, low-irritation exfoliant for daily use.

How to use: Apply an appropriate amount to clean skin and gently pat until absorbed. For deeper cleansing, soak a cotton pad with the product and gently wipe over the skin.
