Dr.Althea 0.1% Gentle Retinol Serum

The Dr. Althea Gentle Retinol Serum initiates the process of cell renewal, thereby improving the condition of the skin: it evens out texture, tightens pores, prevents inflammation, and increases elasticity and firmness.

Eliminates dull tone and gently brightens pigmentation, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, slows down age-related changes, and makes the skin smooth and radiant.

Thanks to moisturizing and nourishing components, as well as the combination of retinol and bakuchiol, the product works delicately, making it suitable for those who are just starting to get acquainted with retinoids.

The product has a gel texture and absorbs without stickiness. The bottle with a dispenser prevents oxidation of the formula, preserving all the beneficial properties of the serum for a long time.

Contains 0.1% retinol (1000 ppm) — a form of vitamin A that stimulates cellular renewal. Retinol normalizes sebum production, thereby preventing oily shine and the appearance of comedones. Stimulates the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid. Smooths microrelief, tightens pores, and reduces the depth of wrinkles. To reduce possible irritation from retinol, bakuchiol is added to the formula — a plant-based active that stabilizes vitamin A.

Additional active ingredients:

• Bakuchiol — a plant-based substance whose action is similar to that of retinol: stimulates renewal, makes the skin smoother and more even. Does not cause irritation, suitable for sensitive skin. Stabilizes retinoids and enhances their effect.
• Panthenol (vitamin B5) accelerates the healing process, soothes and softens, increases the barrier functions of the epidermis, and strengthens the natural protective layer.
• Birch sap contains vitamins, fructose, sucrose, and organic acids. Saturates with beneficial minerals, tones, and maintains smoothness.
• Soybean oil has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, restores the moisture-protective barrier, and reduces the effects of UV radiation.
• Blue Complex-HR — a plant complex consisting of extracts of hyacinth, cornflower, lavender, sage, chamomile, and borage. Soothes and softens, provides antioxidant action.

How to use: After cleansing and toning, apply the serum to dry skin and distribute over the face. During the day, use a sunscreen with SPF50+ PA++++.

Precautions: do not use simultaneously with peels or scrubs, as well as with products containing AHA, BHA, and PHA, or vitamin C in high concentrations. Do not use during current or planned pregnancy, during lactation, or after cosmetic procedures. If you have not used retinol before, start with 2 times a week for 2 weeks, then gradually increase the frequency of use.
